PayPal Account Without Fees?

Is there some way I can set up and maintain a PayPal account without having to pay any fees? It seems each time I've tried to do this, I, somehow, end up with an account that causes me to have to pay fees.

Any help, suggestions, etc., would be greatly appreciated.

I have a free account with paypal. You can't accept credit cards. That has always been the kicker! See if that is what you are doing.

I have a Paypal account which I initially set up for E-Bay purchases only & I haven't paid any fees because I only buy under my account, not sell/ & recently I've been using my Paypal account to make online purchases & the $ comes right out of my checking acount & no fees.

DH has his own paypal/ebay account but he sells stuff on E-Bay so he gets fees taken out when he lists an item & then when he gets paid.
