Payment to DLP: - UPDATE 23/08/08

Has this happened to anyone else?

I called Disney over a week ago and paid off my october holiday using a debit card. The money left my bank account and has now returned to my account. However I have received my confirmation email and have spoken to two different staff on the phone who have confirmed that my holiday has been paid. Anyone know of any errors that have been made with payments recently?

Or have I bagged myself a free holiday to disney

I would double check with the bank and DLP.

I would keep the money in the bank available to be taken by DLRP again. The balance of my DLRP holiday was requested from DLRP on 7th August, and didn't leave my account until the 13th.

This happened to me once and I spoke to the bank and they told me the funds leave the account when the payment is being authorised for a few days and then the funds become shown as cash available in your account again just before the payment is fully complete and the transaction details show on your account.

I don't know if I explained it well however bascally the money goes out then back in and out again, very odd system.

We had exactly the same thing, I really thought we had got away with a free holiday. Just over a week or two later the funds were taken.

When I check my bank earlier I seriously thought that I'd got a free hol was ready to book a second one for xmas time

Money has now been taken from account - panic over

However, Dont know if I'll be going anymore due to relationship circumstances
