Payment questions....

I'm also not sure if this should be in restaurants or resorts...sorry! Traveling next month with my family and the sisters family. We are sharing (renting points) for a 2 bedroom villa.

My question is : what is the easiest way to pay for our meals? We both will be using our Disney Visa Rewards gift cards as well as Disney Gift cards to pay for all meals. Should we just do it all at the restaurant or should we charge it back to the room and figure it out later. I guess I'm concerned with all the charges and how to split it up as well as will the front desk be ok with her using 2 forms of payment and then me using 2 forms of payment. What is the easiest way for everyone?

You can place cash, gift cards or a credit card on your KTTW.

You can place more than one credit card on a room reservation.

For a credit card, you will have up to $1,500.00 spending limit before your card is charged since you are staying deluxe.

The CM at check-in can number the cards, person no. 1, person no. 2, person no. 3. You can have one credit card or multiple credit cards. If you have one card, you will have one $1,500.00 limit. Two cards, two limits.

I did this a few years ago, since I wanted to get the points back from my card for charging for all of us. At the end of the stay they gave me cash back to cover the charges; they each had a sheet of what was charged to their card.

I would check with the Concierge desk to see when you start to hit your limit, ask them to run a sheet off for each card and then each one of you can pay with your gift cards or rewards cards against each total.

We did this last year, since my traveling companions (two couples) each had a credit card and one wanted to pay cash as they went. They placed one credit card on file, but the cash paying couple was on card no. 2. Every night, they would stop at the concierge desk, get a print-out for card no. 2 and paid cash each night.
