Are you looking to use 1 form of payment for 1 ticket and then a different one for another ticket? If that is the case, yes, you can use 2 forms of payment. In order to make that work though, you are going to have to either call AA direct, use a travel agent or purchase a gift card for the amount you want on one card and then book online using the gift card for the one amount and then putting in the other credit card for the other amount.

Or, purchase one ticket with one card, then in a new transaction, purchase the second ticket.
