Payment at vendor carts

What type of payment is taken at the little vendor carts - they type that can roll around. Is it cash only or magic band only? There is one right across from Pecos Bills in Frontierland that sold popcorn but I can’t remember how I paid - I know that I tried one way but had to pay another way because they didn’t take my first method of payment.

Pretty sure they can take anything you can give them as payment.

Cash, credit, Magic Band - all accepted at any stall/cart in the parks. I'm pretty sure it's the same for Disney Springs but I'm not 100% sure.

The only exception I remember is the CMs who sell balloons. But maybe that has changed, too. I think I saw the nighttime light-up toy carts have card readers now, as they were later adapting too.

I will say they don't ALL take all forms. We couldn't use Magic Bands or Disney gift cards at the to go cart on the Boardwalk. We could use credit cards or cash.

I have no idea what other places are like that, but I know from experience it's a possibility.

I've used both cash and credit card at the vendor carts. It wouldn't be magic band payment only, otherwise people like me who don't stay on-site wouldn't be able to buy anything.
