How Do The Sizes Run?

I Wear A 6 1/2 Would I Get A 7?

How About For Kids?

I also wear a 6.5. I tried on the 6 and it fit fine. I didn't get them though because the only colors I can find in a 6 are the really bright orange and I was looking for a something a little less bright. After checking Payless for about a month -- both Payless stores in our area -- I ordered Crocs.

I want to get a pair at Payless to try them before I spend the money for Crocs, but the colors are so ugly. I wish they would make some plain tan or light blue ones.
I'll keep checking Payless, but I think I might have to break down and order Crocs after all. The only bad thing is Crocs website wants $9.95 for shipping them, so that brings it up to $40.00. That's too much to pay for a pair of shoes I don't even know if I'll like.

you can get crocs w/ no shipping on a site called extreme footwear (i think, The link is somewhere in one of the crocs threads). Has anyone tried the payless ones and liked them?

I bought the payless ones last summer - I love them. I'm still not sure I like the whole look of them but the comfort has more than made up for that.

I wore them to our 10 day disney trip - was going to alternate them with my runners but FORGOT to bring any other comfortable shoes. I wore them everyday that we toured the parks and they were awesome - my feet never hurt at all! I didn't do any prep and have a sit down job so was expecting to be completely worn out after a day of touring.

I still wear them around the house now that it's winter here. They are way better than slippers and they are such a relief when I find my feet getting sore from standing and cooking or whatever.

LOVE THEM! :cool1:

Anyone know if the Payless ones run any narrower than the Crocs? I tried on Crocs and they are so wide. I could have put in one foot and half of another. Do your feet sweat in them?

The sizing is a bit "off"...we got ours at Payless and here were our numbers:

Me: Normal size 6, I had to get a child size 4 in the Airwalks
DH: Normal size 11, he got Airwalks size 10
Dd15- Normal size 8, she got Airwalks size 6
Dd8- Normal size, child 13- she got Airwalks size 12

I wouldn't order online....the sizing is so far off our normal sizes...we needed to try them on at the store.

My Airwalk Croc knockoffs are my very favorite pair of shoes I have ever owned. I would wear them all day every day if I could! I got them before we went to Disney last year because I was paranoid about blisters. Also bought some for my DD on the Payless web site. We both wore them the whole trip and no blisters. Also I had much less lower back pain and hip pain than I normally have from walking and standing that long. They were WONDERFUL!! I cannot say enough good things about these shoes. :cool1:

I, like another poster wear them as slippers now. I do find that my feet sweat more in them when I have socks on, but still much less than regular slippers. :teeth:

They do run big, as do real Crocs, so I would order the next size down. I wear 81/2 normally, and got size 8, and they are still really big. They don't fall off my feet though. I will get another pair in size 7 for this coming summer. May go ahead while they are BOGO. Gotta have another pair of black, since mine are so worn from wearing them so much!!

I forgot to mention that I am normally a size 8 and I got Airwalks in a size 6 - they are a perfect fit. :cool1:

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but which sandals on the payless site are supposed to be like crocs? Is it all of the airwalk sandals? I would love to try a pair but we are leaving in two days and I have no time to order online.

Yes the Airwalks are like the crocs. Any PSS store should carry the Airwalks if you don't have time to order them online.

Thanks for the help, I'm excited to try a pair. It will be so nice if they work for my boys and I don't have to hear choruses of "My feet hurt!" at the end of the day! :)

I've worn the Airwalks for 2 weeks as slippers. So far, I've had to wear socks cause it's so cold here in the Northeast. I really like them. I'm a size 8 and bought a size 7 at Payless. My DH is a size 11 he got a size 12, although he likes them he says he sweats in them. (He wears short sleeved golf shirts in the winter) :confused3 I tried the Crocs at Nordstroms and found them to run very big. The only difference I could detect were the holes on Airwalks are diamond shaped and Crocs are round. Maybe the manufacturers knows the real difference in quality. A girl at my job wears her Crocs to work (has a few colors and loves them). I also own Keens and really like them. :yay:
