Does anyone know if you can pay for resort rooms with traveller's cheques? I want to take advantage of the relatively strong Canadian dollar now since some predict it may plummet after the election. thanks!

you need to use a credit card to pay for your 1st night when you first make you reservation, but you can pay the rest of your stay upon arrival with traveller's cheques:D i have done this the last few trips. it saves that extra charge on your credit card for converting the Canadian funds to US funds too. i also "overpay" with traveller's cheques so i can charge things on my room key. every few days or so i check on my balance and cash more cheques towards my room if need be. i've already started buying my traveller's cheques for my dec trip, 25% sure beats the 50% exchange we paid in 2000:eek:
