Paying with a Disney Gift Card

Sorry guys this might be common knowledge to some, but I am at work, the web site appears down and the wait to get someone on the phone was more than 30 minutes. We will be at Disney World next week and my final payment on the room will be due at check in. I have a credit card on file but can I pay when with a Disney Gift card when I get there or will it already be charged to my card. I think I have done the pre-registration. Any help here would be appreciated.

If you completed online check-in then by default your CC on file will be charged on the morning of your arrival. You can still stop at the Front Desk and have the charges credited back to your CC and then use your Gift Card(s) to pay the final balance.

As the pp said, if you did OCI, the cc you have on file will be charged for the balance due. If you want to avoid that, you can call and pay the balance with the gift card prior to arrival.

you should be able to pay with the automated system without waiting on hold for 30 minutes.

I call 407-934-7639 It asks if you are calling about Disney World or Disneyland. Then it asks what they can help you with and say make a payment. It will then ask your name, reservation number and dates, once it looks up the reservation it will ask how you want to make the payment.

I would definitely try to pay before check-in, becuase the charge may take a few days to be credited back to your CC. Plus; the one time we did this, the CM had a difficult time doing it and we were there for almost 30 minutes.
