Paying using Gift Cards?

We are staying at AKL via a DVC rental in September. Last time we were able to use our magic bands to build a balance and pay it off using gift cards at the front desk. Not sure if DVC is different or if anything changed since Covid? Anyone know?

Staying in a DVC resort is no different from staying in a regular Disney resort once you check into the resort. You can still use your MB's to charge to your room and pay the balance off with a gift card.
