Paying using dining plan/multiple rooms/different reservations

My mom is coming down for a few days during our trip. We will all have the dining plan, but we are on different reservations. We will be eating together, and I am a little concerned about how to do the check. Does anyone know if you can take credits from 2 reservations on one check or will we need two checks? If we have to split up the checks, our poor server! We will have one check for mom, one check for us, and one check for extras (like adult beverages)!

I am trying to figure out how we could pay for mom, and she could pay for us, but that is getting way to complicated...

I would have her pick up one of your meals and then pick up 1 of hers so you are paying with only 1 card. If on the last day you need to split it than you can but then you are only giving them 1 card. It does not matter who you spend your dinng points on so say it is you and Dh and your mom and dad... they use 4 creedits 1 day and you use 4 the next.... you are still spending 4 credits on your meals but you are splitting it.. make sense?

Thanks, it does make sense; that is what I was thinking. Mom is only going for 4 nights, so she doesn't have much to work with. We are going for 10 nights. But there are children involved, so if they do split into adult/child credits, then I guess we would have 2 checks anyways. I really need a vacation just planning for my vacation!

Hi!! I will not have quite your situation when we go in 2 weeks, but a similar situation that I posted about a couple of weeks ago. DH, DS, and I are going just with the DDE card and my DB is joining us for a few meals on the free dining. Some nice posters here told me they believe we can get two checks for our meal. I hope this is correct, as I am concerned about this too. My DB just asked me about this today and I told him I think it will not be a problem because we could get 2 checks. I wonder if you could get 2 checks and it would just be easier for you since your mom will not be with you the whole time. Good Luck! Anyone else experience this kind of situation lately? Thanks!

Typing this from WL, my parents are at Saratoga Spings right now.

We have had a table service together each night since Monday, we are a family of four and my parents have my sister(total of seven).

We just let the server know, they usually ask if we need seperate checks anyways. So we just say "two dining plans, 4 and 3". So he just takes orders and seperates at the end, sometimes some of my parents food is on my bill but only thing that matters is that 4 TS credits are used.
