Paying out of pocket on DP

My husband and I are getting a date night on our next trip! We will be on dining plan but want to pay out of pocket for one of the cheaper table service meals and combine two credits to eat at a signature restaurant. My question is...

While at the out of pocket restaurant can we split the bill so our kids pay with dining plan and we pay with cash?

Also, any recommendations? I'm not big on seafood but my husband is.

I am almost positive you can ask them to split it however you like when you're dining. I would mention it to the server towards the beginning so that you don't have any confusion!

At TS restaurants the server will ask if you are on the dining plan soon after you're seated. At that time or when you order, you can let the server know which meals will be on the dining plan and which will be OOP. You will receive 2 bills, one for the dining plan and one for the OOP items at the end of the meal.
