Paying it forwad - Any transportation needs for Sat 7/26?

Okay, I don't know if this may sound wierd. I want to pay it forward! The amount of love we received from the DIS members is unbelievable. See the following thread:

I even received some PM's from DIS members, one offered to send some money to help purchase some toys for the kids.

Well, I want to return the love. I don't have anything planned this weekend. Usually my Saturdays are pretty full. DW won't be around during the day. So, I'm offering me and my Chevy Avalanche for this Saturday.

Do you have any transportation needs for this Saturday, July 26th within the OC area? Do you need a ride from/to John Wayne airport? Do you need a ride to the grocery store or Costco?

I'm a 45 yr old responsible, clean driving record, no accidents, law abiding married male. I have insurance, but I'm not bonded. I've been here in OC for my whole life, so I know the local area and freeways very well.

I know this is kind of last moments notice and a little wierd, but PM if you're interested and we'll try to work something out.

By the way, this is all free too!

Well, I think your offer is simply "magical". Wouldn't the world be a better place if we all just payed it forward without worry of how other's might perceive it. Thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone. I am inspired to see how I might be able to make someone elses day a little better today.

that is the most awesome thing Ive ever heard of someone doing...you know what you are offering is a service that Ive thought someone should go into business doing...they have all these great shuttle services that stop at grocery stores in WDW but I dont know anything going on in our neck of the woods...up for a new career change?

I love what you are doing. Almost wish I needed your services, but living in San Diego, kind of use my own car.

I know you plan to do DL, but if you have any interest in going to LegoLand as well, I do have coupons for free child admission with paid adult admission available and would be happy to share if you have interest. They expire end of December.

I have been sending them out the last two years, a bit of a pay it forward, but easier than being a driver!!!

It's nice you went out on a limb, took a chance and through it out there for someone.

If we all pay it forward some how, then it will out weigh some of the bad in the world!

I try my best to make a point of paying it forward when I can - from simple gestures to really generous ones. It really is rewarding to know you are helping someone else with something they need AND you bring great energy from the universe to yourself and from yourself to the universe that way. Even if no one takes you (the OP) up on your offer, good for you for putting it out there!
