I'm pretty sure I'm clear on this. But wanted to be sure there are no "gotchas" that I'm not thinking about.

My son is going down with his GF. His credit card cannot hold the entire amount of a trip, so he's handing me the cash and I'm putting it on my card.

Once he gets there, that won't be a problem as long as the reservation is in his name right? They'll just see the booking as paid, and he can use his own card for incidentals and room charges.

I am not much help sorry but I thought that you were supposed to arrive with your id and the matching credit card that you charged the room/package with. Although I have heard of others do your example at other nonWDW hotels the card holder always had to call and fax in an approval to the hotel to use the card along with a copy of the card itself.

We have arrived to hotels before and never been asked to see the card but I wouldn't want to be in the situation where they ask for it and not be able to provide it especially so far from home.

I would call and verify my options to be sure. Good luck!

There is no problem as long as the reservation is in his name!Go onto the Disney experience page and add his credit card for incidentals once the trip is paid for.Or you are given this option if you do online checkin ahead of time!

I am much better help since we do room only reservations. We often choose the credit card for the charges when we arrive at Disney. It may or may not be the one that covered the one night prepayment required. The reservation would have been made months before so I would not even remember what card I put it on. We have never been asked for anything other than our reservation number.
