paying for meals w/ disney reward card...

We are doing a 4night WDW / 4 night DCL in Oct, so no dining plan available for land portion. We have used our Disney Visa like crazy and have several hundred disney reward points to help pay for meals. My question is, if the restaurant you pick (TS) is not identified as one that accepts the disney dollars, but you charge it to your room, can you pay off your room bill with Disney dollars (including the meals)?
I would prefer to charge everything to the room B/L/S, and most shopping, then settle up with the disney dollars at the end of stay...

Yes, you can use your Disney Reward card to pay your room charges, be sure that you do not do the automatic check out. They will have made the charge to your credit card on file but they will transfer charges to your reward card and credit your charge card.

I though you could use your reward card in all restraunts and stores.

We used our Rewards Card last year for several restaurants on the first leg of our stay, when we didn't have the DDP. Never encountered a problem. We used the card at counter service, table service, and even signature restaurants. Works just like a credit card.

You can have the rewards card balance applied to your room charges or you can use it in the parks to shop and eat. The only places I couldn't use the rewards card were the crepe stand in France and the Funnel Cake stand in America at Epcot.

I haven't used it everywhere else, but I've used it in many restaurants and shops.
