Paying for luggage Q

We're flying AT out of Buffalo & checking one bag ($15). Do I just walk up to the counter, check my bag & give them cash?

We are flying Delta out of Buffalo and they sent us an e-mail requesting us to do online before we leave for the airport. Otherwise there will be another $5.00 added on to the charge!

That sucks. I've never flown Delta before & this is our first time having to pay to check bags.

I've emailed them to see. Problem is we are doing online check in before we leave & we're planning on checking 1 bag, but if they decide that one of my other bags need to be checked (it's under their size limits for carryon) if I just pay there?

I have never flown Delta before either. We will see how it goes.

I am not sure how it works. I have never had an airline make me check in a bag before. I think if they would that would just be money grabbing. I guess that is why they can offer their tickets for so cheap.

I haven't checked a bag with AT before but I read on the Transportation board that you can add the bag when you check in online. I believe that you can pay for it then with a CC.

I think it's pretty safe to say that you can walk in to the airport with your bag and check it and pay right there.

One time when we flew to Dominican our bags were over weight & the company made us pay right there at the counter, but we were flying out of TO & we just used our bank card.

Haven't heard back from AT yet. We flew Direct Air to Myrtle Beach & they were charging for bags, but we didn't have any to check so I never found out how you did it. Our inlaws drove down so we gave them our bags.

In reference to your inquiry, baggage fees may be paid at the airport or online by utilizing our check-in tool twenty-four hours prior to departure.
