Paying for Dining Plan with Disney Gift Cards?

Hello! We are renting points to stay at OKW for our upcoming trip, and it is my understanding that we will pay for the dining plan when we check into the hotel. Does anybody know if you can pay for this using Disney gift cards? I was hoping to buy some gift cards at my local grocery store and earn some fuel perks, and pay with my disney visa to earn the rewards. Am I able to do this?
