Paying for DDP

Can DVC members pay for the DDP with Disney gift cards?

Thanks for your reply. I had read somewhere that Member Services would only take 3 Disney gift cards per transaction. I am looking at paying for DDP for 7 people and have been purchasing gift cards in $50 increments. So it will be alot of gift cards. Originally we considered just using TIW but like the convience of DDP and the difference in price for the way our family likes to enjoy Disney food was minimal. I still have TIW for my extras. Good to know about the gift cards for payment thought. Thank you.

Just figured it up and it will take about 41 gift cards to pay for my DDP..... sure hope I get someone in member services with alot of patience.

Let us know how that works out. I too was told they would only take 3 gift cards per purchase.

The limit only applies to purchases of DVC Annual Passes made by phone thru MS.

Yes. I have done it many times- worked fine every time. You can even pay with several (I have done 10+) gift cards and then pay the balance with a credit card- I have done that too. CMs are normally great on the phone too.

I definately used more than 3 gift cards to pay for our Dec. 2012 trip. DVC was very patient and accomodating.
