Paying for airfare with disney reward dollars?

Heard on the podcast about paying for your airfare with your reward dollars. Can someone give me a step by step on how you do this? What airline site do you use? Are you using the rewards card number as your credit card to pay for it on the airlines website? Or are you some how having the rewards dollars go to your credit card bill to pay for the airfare you bought?

A point of clarification...you must have the Disney Premier Card not the standard one in order to do this.

That said...if you have the card you just log on to the chase website and it walks you through it. They post it as a credit to your account.

Oh ok thanks, we only have the standard Disney VISA not the premier.

I had the regular card up until a few months ago when Disney offered to upgrade me and waive my fee for the first year. It carries a 49 dollar annual fee but considering the upside I consider it worth it.
