Hi, this may be a silly question, but this is our first time in Florida and I wondered how places that you made ADR's for and had to leave card details take payment? Do they automatically charge the card that you entered online when you made the booking, or do you pay in the restaurant on the day? For example I have booked Chrf Mickey's for breakfast.

Many thanks :)

For all Pre-Paid reservations (This is CRT and HDDR, and maybe Mickey's BBQ? not sure), the card will be charged at the time of booking, unless you indicated/linked a reservation wtih an appropriate dining plan when making the reservation. If you did link a dining plan, this acts as a CC hold (for full price) rather than a prepayment.

For other CC-held reservations (Aksershus, CG, and others), the card is NOT charged at time time of booking. In these cases, the card is only charged if you fail to cancel before the noted time (24-48hrs mostly). Quite often (except as noted above), this fee is around $10-$15 per person rather than the full cost of the meal.

Chef Mickey's should fall into the latter category :).
