I tried to pay my dues tonight and it states that I am paying more than actually due and the over payment will be applied to next years dues. I am just clicking what it says is owed. Not adding anything to it.

Same thing happened to me. I clicked the button that says something "pay different amount" and then I entered the total amount (yeah, the one that DVC shows but then says is an overpayment!). It then allowed me to pay. Of course, now I am realizing that I probably overpaid because they may not have included last year's adjustments in the total. Uggh!

The adjustments show up in the statement so the total SHOULD be correct.

I wonder if the system is simply "assuming" payments made now are for 2021 dues. Since those are paid in full, the overpayment will be applied to next year's dues, 2022, which is what we want, right? We've been making advance payments for months now, and that's what the system has always said, that it regards what I paid as an overpayment (to 2021) and will apply it to next year (2022). The fact that statements/bills for 2022 dues have been issued hasn't registered in the system's brain yet.

I am getting the same error tonight. I take small comfort in the fact that I am not alone. I hope they get it figured out.

It took 2 payments ok. The 3rd gave me the overpayment error. I tried to override it and it would not take. Have tried multiple times and it just will not accept the final payment

Member Services/Administration is going to receive a lot of calls today - get ready to be on hold.............

I was getting the error too. I was not overpaying, but the error stated I was. I just overrode the error. It took the money (proper amount) and everything was fine. I was paying with DGC. Now all my dues are settled for the year and there were no issues. Some of the times, when I went back to pay more (multiple DGC), it took a minute or two for the balance to reflect the previous payment. I just have to refresh, or bounce around between some of the screens.

For those that got a missing field error here’s the fix - you cannot take the easy button to give Disney your money. Do not select to pay the whole amount of the contract. Instead, put the whole amount in the box of how much you want to pay.

I called MS this morning and paid over the phone and let the advisor about the ongoing issue.

I just set up my new contracts I bought this year for monthly auto pay and I got a confirmation email. The funny thing is that the DVC logo that’s used in the official DVC email confirmation communication is actually from https://allears.net/wp-content/uploads/archive/blogs/dnews/dvc-logo.jpg

They don’t have their own internal file to link?? They are instead using a logo file on a 3rd party website??? Totally bizarre!:rolleyes2

Thanks, I’ll try this.

I tried paying balance - no go
I tried for each contract alone - no go
I tried paying balance for all contracts - no go

I tried paying only one contract at a time - no go
I tried the Dues Statement page - pay balance - no go

Called - on hold for 90 minutes and then call failed......I just kept my phone on speaker and did what I had to do but this did not work either.

Eventually it will get paid.

Pay by contract and even if paying the whole amount, use the option to put in the dollar amount you want to pay. Do not use the pay in full option for each contract. This worked for me.

I got the error as well. Paid my dues in full by contract and just acknowledged the error, and it allowed me to proceed.
