Paying Dues Early

Can dues be paid [online] before annual bills are generated? It looks like I can make a payment (I haven't clicked through all the way), and the balance due will be a negative amount.

Yes, you can. We just took advantage of a Disney gift card deal at Sam’s and put it right down on our DVC dues for next year.

Yu can figure it out yourself by finding the dues per point and then multiplying.

We pay most of our MFs with GCs bought at a discount. I usually pay them as soon as the e-gift card arrives in my email, so those GCs are spent within minutes, and I have nothing to keep track of (except the email DVC sends acknowledging payment).

We use the Target Red Card to get 5% off routinely. As you’ve learned from the post above, there are a lot of other ways!

I've had good luck stacking... e.g. 5% on PayPal, then buy a discounted card thru BJs... etc..

I just scored 14% with a CC at 10% on groceries, then grocery store did 2X on gift cards against gas purchase ... unlimited, I put $1500 through that
