Paying cash for rooms

Are there any perks to booking rooms thru DVC for cash then thru a promotion thru MS? We have a party of 10 and staying at the BWV. I know thru DVC we would have a better view, garden/pool vs standard. Any other perks? Do you think there's a better chance of having our rooms close together if we booked thru DVC?

Through DVC is 20% off rack rate for villa rooms. Often times booking through regular reservations you get upwards of 35% off. Call both DVC and normal reservations to price shop.

Either way there are no differences in room type (Disney owns 5% of all DVC resorts for cash guests) and you'll have just as much luck getting rooms by one another.

The member discount is 25% through member services.

Rooms booked through CRO are assigned what members don't book, usually pool/garden.

With a CRO room you are a cash guest and will have daily housekeeping.

With a DVC discount room you are a member guest which gives you the member privledges of pool hopping, I believe your internet is free on ms cash stays, your housekeeping will be by the same schedule as points, and of course you can choose your view category.

DVC maintains between 2-4% ownership at DVC resorts. The cash availability is mostly due to points used for non-DVC options like the cruise and non-DVC WDW resort reservations.

DVC cash reservations will get free internet and pool hopping. Cash reservations thru DRC will get daily housekeeping.

Some room categories are not available for cash reservations through DRC or DVC, like BW View and BW Standard view at the BWV. Or the dedicated two bedroom villa at BCV with two queen beds in the second bedroom.

Thanks for the replies...so thru DVC cash rooms...we'll get free internet & pool hopping. If we book thru CRO for BWV we'll get daily housekeeping. Do you know much the internet costs daily?

Deb & Bill..When you said two queen sizes beds in the second bedroom, did you mean some BCV have 4 beds in them instead of having one king size bed in the extra bedroom?

Internet os $10.95 for 24 hours. The rooms without 2 queen beds in the extra room have 1 queen and a sleeper sofa.
