I was talking with a fried at work about how the Disney Visa card pays you back 1% of your purchases. We are putting our trip on the card and that $2187 will get us the minimum $20 back. He said that he used to go to a currency exchange and pay for a cashiers check or money order with his Visa in the amount of his mortgage. It only cost him $1 he said. Then when he got the Visa bill, he would pay it by check as if it was the regular mortgage. Now I'm thinking that if this works, I can pay three bills at $1500 each at a cost of $3 before we go to WDW in August and that will net me another $45 on top of the $20 for a total of $65 Disney dollars. Hmmmmmmm! Anyone else ever hear of doing this? If it works, I'll be sorry I didn't do it sooner to save up more money. I know the post office will not issue a money order unless it is paid for in cash....
