princess@heart did the most beloved and kind gesture for my family. Recently she offered to send postcards from Disney while she was there to other forum member's kids who would be coming soon. I messaged her and gave her my daughter's info. Well, my daughter received the card today. As I told princess@heart, we just had the big Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy is not real conversation. When she got that postcard from princess@heart signed by Cinderella (she asked the favorite character) today, I thought she would just about die! She so wants to believe in her heart and she just knew Cinderella sent her that card. There are no words I can express my thanks to Amber (princess@heart) for that. SOOOOOO....I decided I would pay it forward. We are going to DW the last week of February. If your family is going after that, please send me your info. I will send to the first 5 people who contact me. Please include your child's name, when you are going and what is their favorite character so that I can sign the postcard from them. And remember, when you go-pay it forward! Isn't this a great idea for the forum and for our kids? Thanks so much to Amber for suggesting it!

I will be going from April 27 - May 4th. I would love to pay it forward to the first 5 people. Give child's (or adults) name, favorite character, when going, and address. This is such a super idea!!!

I hope that this keeps up. We are not going to go until 2008. I would love to participate then. Maybe it will become a permanent thread.

I would love to send some postcards...DCL 6/21/07...WDW 6/24/07...First 5 requests...Name/Address/Favorite Character/Arrival Date...email-epanza2@earthlink.net

My daughters just recvd their postcards from Minnie today..! The look on their faces - just..well..yall know what I mean. Priceless. It just adds to their excitement. We are down to 4 weeks until we leave..! Trying to start a "pre-trip/planning report" but I tend to ramble on when typing, so it'd be way too long..

Anyway - we shall PAY IT FORWARD..!! We will be there from April 1-6, at the Fort. Please PM me your requests:
Childs Name
Address
Fav. Character
Arrival Date

What a cool idea. Could someone add my son to the list for a post card. His name is Aaryn and he too got the No Santa talk this year. We're going in November and hope to continue this very cool tradition.
When My wife and I first got married we made a trip to Disney in 1986. No internet and not a clue what to expect, I was in the military so we weren't exactly living it up but we were determined to go. Since we never believed we'd ever get a chance to go back we bit the bullet and decided to go to EPCOT also (It was not totaly completed yet). I'm standing in line working out the budget in my head (can we eat) when I see my wife talking to an older couple. I've already been waiting 20 minutes when she pulls me out of line. It turns out the older couple wanted to give us tickets to EPCOT and buy dinner. No reason, they just wanted to share the magic. It made the trip needless to say and we never forgot their generosity. We have been fortunate to return many times thereafter and have always budgeted in that same generosity to our trip.

That was nice of them to give you the tix to Epcot. We always try to give away fastpasses and stuff when we go and be generous to at least the hard working waitresses. I remember once I had my two kids with me and we had ridden Everest twice before 10:00. I had already gotten fastpasses but didn't feel like riding again. We saw that the standby was 2 hours already so I went to the back of the line this man was standing there with his 2 daughters. I said hey how many in your party. He says 3 why? I said here is 3 fastpasses good for right now. He said they were hoping to get on because they were pushing to get to their flight back to the U.K. He walked off yelling I love you, I love you. You're the man. I was cracking up. We waited to see what they thought and they were breathless and thanked us again.
