we havent done this in a while.

So the challenge is this.
Find someone, anyone, a stranger or a friend and say something nice to them. Be it in real life or on the internet it doesnt matter.

It feels so good to make someone else happy~ :) and the great thing is you never know how much that could mean to someone and you will never know how far it will go.

My pay it forward today was this beautiful lady at Walmart. She must have been in her 80s and she was wearing the prettiest outfit! So I told her :) She just lit up! I saw her smiling all through the store.
I dont know if it will stop with her or if she will spread it to someone ele but just seeing her smile like that made it so worthwhile :)

So pay it forward!

I like to do that. It makes me feel just as good as the person on the recieving end. :goodvibes

Great thing for all of us to do..........but I don't think we should tell what we did..........It like has to be done in secret, right?

I try to live my life by being nice to everyone always. It just makes you feel good!:flower3:

This is a great idea. Thanks. :thumbsup2

Not to be negative, but this reminds me of a memo that I got at work. :rotfl: It said that we should make a list of nice things about our co-workers before coming to work each day & then we should try and use this list to casually compliment one of our co-workers each day. It just cracks me up, because I'm a nurse and I just don't have time for that BS. :goodvibes I have patients to care for.

The other day a gal (in her mid-20s) was in the hospital gift shop buying a handful of candy bars - the total came to $2.50. I was in line behind her. She went to use her debit card and the volunteer at the register said they can't accept them for purchases under $10 - so, I just paid for her candy bars...:goodvibes

I told her to pay it forward and do it for somebody else when the opportunity arises...:thumbsup2

My 13 year old just thought it was the coolest thing that I did that...:cool1: :cool1:

I did joke to the volunteer that I hope "two fifty" meant "two dollars and fifty cents and not two hundred and fifty dollars..." :scared1: which garnered a laugh!

It always feels good to receive a compliment or a kindness...but it feels so much better giving one! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

We like to pay for the person's food behind us at the drive thru... It makes them happy and surprised, and maybe eases the guilt we feel for being in a fast food drive thru in the first place! It's fun and scarry... you never know if they are ordering for one, two or a family of ten! I think our biggest bill hasnt been over $15. The bigger the funner, too! Oddly enough!

I also ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS offer to take the group photo when I see one person taking a pic of the rest of their group. I always shock people by offering. I promise not to run with their camera, which makes everyone laugh and eases the discomfort people always feel.

I accept your challenge... but it will have to be tomorrow. I'm pooped out today and getting into my jammies!
