Pay for MNSSHP With Gift Card?

As this is the budget board...

We are trying to save money gradually for our trip in September. We are already paying off the resort and dining (but hoping for a discount later).

We are going to go to the MNSSHP again this year. Can I buy the tickets with a Disney gift card? I bought them online last time but I can't remember if paying with a gift card was an option. I'd like yo get the cash out of my pocket and onto a card.

Yes, you can. We bought tickets for MNSSHP last Sept on arrival and I used some giftcards we'd been given as gifts. I used them at the ticket window but you can also call and buy tickets and I'm sure you can use giftcards over the phone, too.

I ordered our 2011 MNSSHP tickets by phone and paid part with a gift card and part with Disney Dream Dollars (Chase Visa). Since it's a direct from Disney purchase, I can't imagine it would be a problem.

The only limitation is they can only use 2 cards per transaction.

Maybe it's who you talk to? We went in October and I called to buy the tickets in advance. I was worried it would sell out or something. On the phone they told me that they could only do the gift cards in person when I got there. However, they took tons of gift cards when I paid for dining. I did this through the DVC so that might be the difference? Good luck!

Could be i was only buying one ticket and wanted to use 3 gift cards, they said i could only use 2 so i just used my debit card and used the gift cards for food. I called the regular Disney number.
