Pay for hotel adead of time

Anyone know if you can pay Hojo ahead of time for you stay with out booking through a place like GAT. I have been pricing everything and we can actually save quite a bit by doing in all individually, with the entertainment rate. But I like the security of paying ahead of time.

Hmm...when is your trip? I have never prepaid for a hotel before and I think some of them might not like the idea of someone pre-paying since they could still technically cancel last minute and I can only imagine the hassle of giving people refunds. What kind of security are you talking about? If you reserve a room with them and place a credit card to hold it (they don't charge you until you check-out), then you are confirmed to have the room you reserved. I don't believe that prepaying would give you any greater security in their reservation system. I guess I'm confused???

I'm not the OP but I am guessing that she means she would feel better about paying ahead of time and not have to worry about overspending when she gets there or paying a huge bill when she gets home...

YOU got it! Just knowing that it's payed for and I don't have to worry about it anymore.Last time it was a huge deal and we actually were only using cash. We got direct deposit while we were there. We thought that they would only hold the first night and they held the whole thing leaving us two days with very little money, it was scary. So much for trying to be resposible and not over spend. We figured you can't spend what you don't have!
I guess I will call and ask tomorrow and if they can't then I will have to book through Disney or GAT. Thanks!

I personally pre=paid last years stay and am half way through this years stay at HoJo. Just send them a check with your reservation # in the memo. It is so nice to pay vacation in little chunks BEFORE you go!!

I've been using hotels.com quite a bit and paying ahead of time. Their prices are good, and if you are a Sunshine rewards member you get a nice chunk back. If you are trying to use the entertainment rate I don't think that would work.

I wonder if there's a way to do that for Park Vue. There's a weird rule with them listed on their website though that they ONLY accept cash for amounts over $500 so i'm just going to have to pull cash out on day one to pay it all in the end...kind of a weird rule in my opinion

Just contacted Park Vue Inn and just an FYI for those of you that book there, you can pay for the whole stay ahead of time by just calling their direct line at (714) 772-3691
