Paula's Choice cosmetics anyone use them?

Anyone use the cosmetics created by Paula Begoun, author of " Do Not Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without This Book". They are only available at her website and seem extremely reasonable. After reading her book and checking the ingredients in the cosmetics they really do seem to measure up to the more expensive brands. I am tempted but wondered if they really perform as well as they claim.

I have a few of her eyeshadows. I really like them. Good color selection, reasonably priced and they stay on weel w/o melting off too quickly. She hasn't always had products. She's rated products for years and felt out of neccessity she'd do her own line. There are a lot of products out there she rates high and a lot she rates low. The thing is, she doesn't hate everything except her own products as some people would have you believe. I'd say go for it because I was satisfied when I ordered from her co.

I've used a lot of her stuff, and I love it. The only things that I ever had a problem with was her lipsticks, they were too dark for me.
I've used her skincare, and her makeup.


She has written a lot of books, and her fans, me included mentioned that since she knows what works well and what doesn't, then we thought she would be able to make what we wanted. So, she started creating her own line.

Some things are just easier for me to get at the drug store, some I get from her. I tend to use her ratings as a starting point. I narrow the choices of what's out there down to what she rates best, and then decide what I like best from there.

Thanks I just ordered over 100.00 worth!! The prices were so reasonable that I just could not stop myself. Anyone use the brow color as a touch up for gray roots?? Also there were so many things on special that I got carried away. The way I look at it one trip to Estee or Lancome and I would have about two items for the same price.

LOL! I really don't think you will be disappointed at all. And if something you buy isn't what you had in mind, she has no problems with returns.

Btw, if you have any ideas of improving something. Let her know. The packaging has gone through a couple revamps. And she's always improving and adding colors.

Have you ever used the tanning products?? I cannot wait for the products to arrive. That is the only thing I hate about buying on the internet.

Yeah, I did once. It was pretty easy to use and she has good instructions.

I hate to wait too, sometimes I need "it" right now.

I forget which Neutrogena she recommends, but a lot of people like it. You might want to look it up and get it instead of hers.

Ok, I just looked it up. She likes Mary Kay sunless tanning lotion, and Neutrogena, all of them.

She says all sunless tanners have the same important ingredient. It's the other ingredients that make the consistancy and form of how it's put on.

I like her's. It's got some color so you can tell where you're put it.

I must tell all of you that I got my make up and liked it so much that I have ordered twice more. I also turned a couple of my friends on to it. My skin has NEVER looked better!! The price is to die for also. Thanks for the info.
