I am wondering if I need to give her tips?
I am actually talking about anybody who does your hair and make up for your wedding. Do we need to give tips?
How much, do you say?

Technically you don't need to tip people who own their own businesses, so you wouln't tip Patricia or, say, Anna from Beaute Speciale, but you would tip their assistants. Usually it's around 20%.

However, it seems like most people tip their hair & makeup artists anyway.

The deposit is applied toward the cost of services, so you don't get it back. But that means that on the day of, depending how many people you're paying for, you only have to give her a little more money and the bill is paid in full.
