Patina Group gift card & AP discount?

Has anyone used a Patina group gift card and an AP discount in one of the following restaurants? Do they allow you to use both together? As there is a discount for July to get an additional $20 if you purchase a $100 gift card. It may be a good saving especially if you can use your A/P discount. I do realize you cannot use any discount with the additional $20 but am wondering about $100 gift card.

Typically if you get a gift card it is worth same as the cash value even if you got it at a discount. As far as the restaurant is concerned it's like any other gift card and you could use any discount.
D23 Gold Members actually get an even better discount than APs at Patina at 15%.

I only asked because some restaurants do not allow you to use a discount with a gift card in the same transaction. I believe Rainforrest Cafe is one like this. I think I'm going to buy this gift card deal as it's a really good deal anyhow. I was just curious if anyone had experience with these specific group of restaurants.

Yes, we purchased when they were running their Buy $100 Get $30 Free Promo last Christmas for the GC's and we used them with our AP discount no problem.

Oh that's an even better deal. I will watch for a deal like this at Christmas time for our Holiday trip we are planning in December. I did purchase this one today as it was too good to pass up. Thanks for your response on your experience, I appreciate it!

The only day I saw these for sale was on Black Friday! We were planning on going in January so it was a great deal. We purchased 2) $100.00 GC's and got 2) $30 GC free. We love Naples, the UVA Bar and Catal especially for breakfast. Used them all with no problems.
