Path between Saratoga Springs and Old Key West

When we went in March to do some DVC room tours. We asked someone at Saratoga Springs if there was a walkway from SSR to OKW and he said there was not. I have watched a couple videos saying that there is a bridge that connects them. Which is true?

Since the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course starts at SSR and runs through OKW, there are paths for golfers to take.

I haven't ever used them but saw the golf paths. I assume they are unlighted and closed at dusk?

There is a jogging and cycling trail at the end of Peninsular Road along the waterway to SSR from OKW.At least there was 5 years ago.At least there was the last time we stayed at OKW.

There is. We were at SSR in February and walked the path to the treehouse villas. You could see OKW further down the path.

As to the golf course paths. there are signs telling non-golfers to stay off, something that one should obey at least during daylight hours because of the risk of being hit by a golf ball.

Yes there is a path to walk. It is the one right next to the river. Cross the bridge behind the club house at SSR and take a right. The yellow line in my picture will give you an idea where it is. This is not a golf cart path. It is open from sunrise to sunset. There is only a little section where it goes into trees so it’s pretty open to the sun. There is a bridge to cross to get to the Treehouses Villas too.

Yes, it should drop you off in the Cirque du Soleil area.

Okay this is a great visual. I will have to try to it out. Is this also the same way to get from OKW to DS?

Yes. Instead of going over the bridge to SSR from the path, continue and it brings you to the west side of DS.
