PAT together?

Hello I have a question regarding a group in our party. They are two people on the same reservation. Is it okay if they show up at different times as long as its after their PAT? or would the first need to wait for the second to check in together?

It's been reported both ways - 1) Everyone must check in together; or 2) You can check in separately.

How far apart are you planning on arriving? Would it be a hardship for the first person to wait (if they are told to)?
