Past June AP Discounts

I'm really looking for a decent discount for our upcoming 2 week trip in June. Does anyone recall what the AP discount was last June for Values and Moderates, if there were any?

If I may, I would like to piggyback onto your thread if possibile...instead of posting another thread with almost the same question.


I'm looking to do BC in August and currently there are no discount codes that are applicable. Does anyone think that the AP discount may apply for BC once they extend the dates past Apr 14?

I think the next round of AP discounts will probably be released in Feb. based on past AP discounts. Although I believe one year recently, something was released in January. I would think the AP discount would include BC, but I suppose nothing is guaranteed. As I understand it has in the past. Also, I just booked with a GP discount. However availability is limited and doesn't always include rooms in all categories. I find it's best to go into the process being a little open. (Ie. We're booked at BC, but are willing to go somewhere else, if nothing is available. Or possibly switch room categories.)

I'm pretty sure the deluxe discount last year was 40%. So I'd guess value and mod would be around 30%?

Well as of 5 mins ago there were no BC 2 BR villas available! My how things can change in 20 hours. I'm hoping some may open up with people changing there minds (like we have 4 times!). I'm curious if you are already booked in a room, can you then try to apply the AP discount just as you would any other discount?

Donnajz - Historically the AP rates release dates are ALL over the place. However, I think usually for your travel dates, IF they are released it's around Mid Feb-Early March.

JFiorianti - BCV are hard to get anytime and very seldom do you find a AP rate on the 1 or 2 BRs. Also, yes you can usually apply an AP rate to an existing reservation. We do it all of the time. We book to make sure we get the Resort/Category we want and then apply the AP rate if/when it's available. (However, all resorts don't always offer AP rates - so be prepared to pay rack rate if you don't get the discount)

The current ap discount expires today. So hopefully a new one will be released in the next week or so. The ap discount over the summer was either 35 or 40% off summer rates. I can't remember when it came out though. I just know that it was the first time I had seen a pretty dramatic difference in an AP rate vs. a general public discount. I think it was only like 25% off for general public at that point. It actually helped to pay for our ap passes.... the discount made it totally worth it.

My fingers are crossed for a good AP rate that covers May.
