Past AP Rates for New Year's Eve?

We're seriously thinking about going to WDW next December, probably arrive 12/28 and depart 1/3. Are any AP discounts offered during that time, and if so and any of you had those rates, would you mind posting? TIA!

If you are checking in on the 28th, you probably won't get one as they usually expire on 12/25 or 12/26. In the past if you check in on the 25th or 26th, you could get an AP rate that would carry you through your entire stay. This year we checked in on 12/25 and got an AP rate for our entire stay (just got back last night). Last year the discounts expired on 12/26, the year before it was 12/25. I've never seen them go after 12/26. However, I've gotten AP rates at the Dolphin for this week. Not sure if they still offer them.

Thanks so much for the info. I guess I won't plan on an AP rate then, as the earliest we would be able to leave would be the 27th. Now I know to make sure I have enough points to cover the weekend with my DVC.
