I know I said I'd put up a June meet thread after our last one. But I've been off the boards for awhile and, quite honestly, forgot about setting up our next meet.

Anyway, I know its kinda' short notice but would anyone like to meet up to see Nemo in June? I'll be gone June 20-22 but my other weekends are all free.

I've heard some great reviews already and I can't wait to see this one!!

So would anyone like to join me? Any preferred locations?

DG already knows my feeble thought so, I'll share with you all, too!

When Bunchkin's thread was not very well replied to, her & I decided to do this on our own and, we're meeting the 14th (right Bunchkin?) so, I'm sure that ANYONE interested is very Welcome to join us that day! The more the merrier, right?!

Feel free to get together whenever else you all can make it but, I wanted to open the invitation up to whoever else wanted to come on the 14th!

I'm the worst kind of thread killer, Kim.
I start threads that NO ONE is interested in (meaning my original thread about a Nemo meet)!!!

Leave it to a more "popular" person to start a similar thread and get interest in it.

I agree though, the more the merrier!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to see this movie!!!

I ALWAYS miss you guys and your meets! I come to Chicago 2-3 times per year and its always right before or right after a meet! LOL This time is no different...I'm there till the 18th

Hmmmm, the weekend of the 7th we are going to be in Ohio for a retirement party and a stop at Cedar Point.

The weekend of June 21st will be Brittany's 6th bday party.

At this point, the 14th is open for us. We could do it then. Tricia, does the 14th work for you????

I think Bunchkin deserves some credit for keeping this idea alive, if only in MY Head/plans, anyway!

Not sure myself about PatrickCon right now, with grad parties and BDs but, I'm planning on 'something' in August when mamajoan is in town and, I wanted to 'alert' the Chicago area to that possibility as well.

So, that would mean a DIS meet somewhere close (or here) EVERY month this summer! I know, I know, it's a lot to handle but, the locals can rest assured that OUR meets will happen, some how, some way!

These meets are especially important since DG will be leaving the Chicago-area 'Ranks' soon for U.S. Military Wife status! And, she & Jim can use ALL the Love & support we have to offer her while she's still here! {{HUGS}} DG!! See ya 6/14!!

Well...this puts us out for another meet - but we will be seeing bigger and better things that day.....THE LION KING!!!!!

Hope you guys have fun and it's looking like we "might" be able to make it to Patrick's for some of the day now but we have to get schedules together and check (Britt opted on NOT going to camp that week in WI so she could attend cheerleading camp here). So MAYBE we'll see you guys sometime this summer.....

I kept looking at this date and saying something is going on then, and then I finally remembered...we have a wedding to go to! I would have loved to be at the meet, also...please keep me posted on any other summer plans!
