I am thinking of ordering PassPorter Walt Disney World 2005 Spiral Guide from the website. I have a very important question. This particular guide, as pictured below, is bound, right? It's not just loose sheets? If someone could clarify, I would appreciate it.

My passporter was not bound. It's the kind you COULD tear out,so not really loose.Does that help? You can PM me if you need to. :flower:

Yes, it is bound. I used that one last year. Am trying the Deluxe this year. I got a lot of good use out of mine. The pockets in the back are the best part!

But doesn't this mean it is bound?

I guess my question is, do you need to put these pages in another book or could you take this as is with you to the parks.

Ali, It is spiral bound. You would have to rip the pages to take them out. The deluxe version is more like a binder where you can take pages out. The one shown in your picture is the spiral bound version.

Thanks Shatz. I know it seems like I'm just not getting it but could I fill in the pages in the spiral bound book and then take the entire spiral bound book with me in my knapsack? I think the answer is yes but I just wanted to make sure.

I'm not sure what you are asking so I'll explain what it is. The majority of the Passporter is like a travel guide (think Unofficial Guide type stuff). There are a couple of pages in the back to get autographs and take notes. The best part of it is in the back of the book. There are around 12 folders that can't be taken out. On the front of each folder are the following areas:

Top of each folder has a slot to put items in like park maps, confirmation emails, etc.

The first folder is for travel information. Flight, ground, etc.

The second folder is for Hotel information.

Then the daily folders say what day it is (i.e. "Our Second Day")

Next section has an itineray for the day that you complete.
Example line: __:__ Breakfast: ___________________ Conf. #________
the section starts at Wake Up and ends at Before bed with lines for meals and such.

Then another slot about 3/4 of the way down. This is where I put little booklets I made that had stuff about each park like hidden mickeys, FP rides, etc.

Next is a "Things to Do" section. It has 8 lines that you can write stuff down that you want to do that day.

Lastly is 5 lines for notes.

On the back of each folder is an area to right down memories of the day, a place for meal and snack expenditures, a Budget & Expenses section and a Notes section.

I hope that helps you understand what it is. I carried mine in my back pack last year. With the deluxe version, I will be able to just take that day's folder with me.

Thanks Susie! I guess I was too evasive. When I think bound,I think glue.I could picture it,just couldn't describe it....can you tell it's Friday?? :rotfl:

I'm trying a deluxe version this time since we're going twice this year and I can order more page refills if needed.

I just got an email today saying the preorders will be shipping out next week since they received their shipments today! :cool1:

I think I'm going to go with amazon.ca. It makes shipping cheaper, I'm pretty sure.

Just FYI...overstock.com has shipping between $1.40 and $2.95. So you can get a new passporter for under $16.00 which includes shipping!! No deluxe versions yet or I would have ordered from there.

Yes but those are American prices. I'm in Canada. And I checked into shipping and exchange and it would cost me over 30 dollars. From Amazon.ca, it's about $25.

About the overstock.com 2005 passporters- does anyone know what the difference is between the one priced at 14.24 and the one priced at 13.63?

I've been really happy with overstock.com in the past, so I'd like to order from them, but their descriptions on these items are really limited. It's probably because they're new....

Yes, I used the spiral kind last year. Its just like a spiral notebook that you would use in school. If you rip out any pages, they are out for good. You can carry the book around with you at the parks, but I found it to be a little heavy by the end of the day.
I have ordered the Deluxe edition for our April trip so I can take out the pockets for each day and put them back in when we get back to the room.

:rotfl: The 2005 Passporters are overstocked already?? :rotfl:
