Passporter or Unofficial Guide...?

Which guidebook would be best for planning out your trip? We are planning a large group visit in 2008. I know I'm ahead of the game (Unofficial Guide for 08 comes out in August) but I'm thinking ahead. I want to get a good sense of what to see in each park for our age groups, best strategies for doing so, etc. I'll be wondering what days of the week certain programs run and the time so I can make ADR's accordingly.

What do you suggest using? We used the Passporter for our Disney Cruise last year and that was fine but I didn't know if the UNofficial guide was better/ more extensive for the parks.

why not get both? the passporter gives you a general idear what to expect and has a great section to log all the details about your trip,great for remenicing. the unoffical guide covers everything from soup to nut. i buy both every year

I got both for this year I haven't gotten to the Unofficial Guide yet but the Passporter is looking great so far for planning the parks with 2 small kids and extended family

If you really want to dig in and read all the details then get the Unofficial Guidebook. It is thick and packed with information. (I personally love it!) If you would like more of a condensed version of information the passport is for you. You can find both at your local library and check out which works best. (I have both. I love the maps in the passport.)

Definitely both! If I had to choose one over the other, I'd pick the Passporter, but I really like to have both. Gotta get as much info as you can! Happy planning!

Thanks for the heads up on the new UG coming out in August. We're going in January but I'm so itchy to get the books, I'm just feeling very excited about going!
