Hi guys

Can anyone give me some info about the Passporter guidebooks? Despite already having 3 guidebooks on WDW (including Simon's, of course), with another trip coming up in May I feel the compelling urge to buy another!!

I was wondering whether it was worth buying the Passporter guide to the Disney Cruises even though we are only going on a 3 day cruise?

And is it worth getting the WDW at the same time (so I can get the deal on Amazon) - does it include anything that other guidebooks don't, such as things to fill in for planning?? If they are interactive guides with space for planning and/or recording details of the trip I think I can justify getting them!!

Any advice greatly appreciated - I haven't seen these in the shops, and can't find much info anywhere else.

I love my passporter :)

Have you seen the site http://www.passporter.com/ ? There is a video on there so you can see the book. I love the pockets, you can have one for travelling, one for lodging and then one for each day. I love it :teeth:

HTH

Thanks for this, Kaylee!! Just had a quick look at the site - that looks so cool!! Can't get the video to work on this PC, will have to wait till I'm at home!

Thanks again:)

Forgot to say I brought mine direct from the passporter site, I ordered extra pockets too :)

Thanks again, Kaylee.

If I bought a deluxe guide to WDW so that I got the pockets, could I just buy the paperback edition of the cruise guide and use the pockets from the WDW guide?? (If that makes any sense!!)

I bought the paperback cruise book for our upcoming cruise in less than 5 weeks!!! It is full of comprehensive info. & if you sign up on the passporter sites you get a monthly(?) e-mail with book updates, Q&A etc. Although aimed at US citizens, this book, along woth the cruise forum on these boards means I feel fairly well prepared. IMHO it was a buy well worth the money. Can't comment on the WDW book as I'm an unofficial guide fan

Thanks for the info, Celestine - I hope you enjoy your cruise!! I have recently disovered the cruise forum, so I am checking on that regularly too.

I love the Unofficial Guides too - read my WDW one loads before our last trip. I love the comments from other readers - it gives a whole different perspective.

Thumbs up from me for the Passporter Cruise guide. I prefer this to Birnbaum's cruise guide to be honest (though Birnbaum has lovely pictures)

AJ

If I remember rightly the normal guide is spiral bound so you wouldn't be able to add pockets to it.

You could have all of your pockets in your deluxe guide and just use your cruise one on the side. Is that what you mean? :)

That's exactly what I meant, Kaylee. Thanks again for your help.
