Even though I have a Deluxe Passporter, I just purchased the spiral bound edition because I can't get the deluxe refills here in Canada - actually, I know that you can only get them from Passporter directly. I thought I'd be able to punch holes in the spiral bound one, and place in my Deluxe, but that isn't going to happen as DH spent a long time just trying to punch holes in one page to see if it would work. I'm sure that they use a proprietary system of 6 holes so that people have no choice but to buy refills from them. I find their prices are very high though, especially since they charge shipping (despite the fact that I live in Canada, I can have them shipped to friends in Michigan who'll bring home for me) and I can actually get Passporters cheaper here in Canada than in US - that never happens with any products!
Anyway I now have a deluxe binder going to waste, and I'm not that thrilled with the spiral edition as it's way bigger than I thought it would be. Anyone, know of a way to punch holes (besides a single hole punch as that takes forever and hurts the hands!) in my spiral edition so I can place pages in my deluxe binder? I've tried to login to Passporter website to ask this tip on their message boards, but have had problems (some internal error on their website) and have emailed a bunch of times, with no response. Someone just finally got in touch the other day to say they were forwarding to tech department to see if they can get it straightened out so that I can post on the Passporter message forums, but haven't heard anything - don't expect to though as everytime I've emailed (only a few times over the past few years), my emails go unanswered. I'm assuming it's because they have a small staff and are always busy.
Sorry for the length of message, but since I can't get on Passporter website (even tried to reregister, but it won't let me because my email address is already registered), to ask this question, I figured someone here may have an answer for me in how to utilize my Passporters best. This is my third one in the past coulple of years, so I do like their products, but I do find their problematic customer service and high US prices are leaving me a bit frustrated!
Any tips would be appreciated, Tiger
