Hi, I have been reading alot about The Passporter..guide to WDW, we already have the Offical and Unofficial Guides, is the Passporter any different? Worth getting??? Or maybe you know of another guide you reccomend?

( i posted this on the Family board as well...wanted to order something today, so trying to get some input...sorry if it is redundant.)

Thanks.
Nicole

I hate to admit it, but I bought a Passporter and hardly used it at all. I subscribed to TGM and used it a lot more.

I bought a deluxe Passporter and hardly use it. It would have loved it if it was the only book I bought. As it is, I have the same information over and over.

What is TGM?
TourGuideMike, an online service. Myself, I really don't like the Passporter, think it's a little awkward. Don't like TGM either...not a thing he says can't be found anywhere else, and it's an annoying site to navigate. So flame me, I don't care. Best books are the Unofficial Guide, best sites are this one, and allearsnet.com.

I like the Passporter for its organizational features-- love the pockets for writing memories, storing stuff etc. But lately (dare I say it?) I have gotten a little tired of the authors' pictures all over the book. I may just order the Passpockets next time to avoid the too cutesy pics (JMHO). As a guidebook, it has really useful info, and the park maps are great.

i have the deluxe passporter
i loved the yellow pockets up front
they were great for receipts adn journal writing the love teh passporter
i also have used TGM and found that awesome
thre are somany resources
also the unofficial guide has touring pages you can print out as well

My Passporter was invaluable during our trip last week. It kept everything organized and the maps are much easier to carry than the big maps you get in the parks. I put daily receipts in the pockets and added pages to keep notes on. I bought the deluxe so that when I go back all I have to do is order the folder refill which is a lot less expensive.

Wasted Money. Between Dis and Allears, Mousesavers and The Mouseforless I have found that passporter and my TGM are usless. I am probley ask for a refund on TGM cause his information is outdated on some topics and well hard to find and navigate. I expected more for my money. The passporter is neat i got the deluex version and is good but most of the information i have had to pull out to make room for other information and well most of the same information i chose to keep i had allready read online. The one nice thing is the pockets. Well i guess i know for next time just order the pockets. I can not complain i got the deluxe for about $20 at amazon. I hope this helps you decide. If you dont have time to search and read online then i guess the passporter is a good offline source.
