passporter for special needs

Did anyone buy the passporter for special needs? Is there anything surprising/new/useful, or is it basically what is on these boards?

It was full of useful information but I felt that I have gotten just as much from reading these boards. Plus if you've been to WDW before you've probably figured out a lot of it on your own. Definitely good if it is your first or second trip. The reason I bought it is that I like the Passporter regular guide, so for my last trip I bought the special needs one instead. It has all the same info as the regular guide, without the pockets and planning pages, with the additional tips for guest with disabilities.

There will be a new, updated edition coming out. I'm not sure when, but I have been contacted by Deb Wills asking if I would be willing to be a reviewer with the chapters being e-mailed to me.

I was one of the reveiwers on the first edition, so I read every word of it.
I think it would be good for a first time visitor to the parks, but if you have been a lot of times, you probably know a lot of what is in it.
I'd suggest going to the library or a book store to look at it. Because it covers many different special needs, a lot of people use a highlighter to mark the things they feel would be useful to them.

I was also a reveiwer on the first edition. It has a lot of great info, and I agree with enough research you can get the same info, But I like that it is all in one book that you can take along and even make notes in. Check half price books or ebay for a copy..
