I went to Blacks Photography and asked about passport photos ... $22.99 per person. 25% discount for 3 or more people. Yikesss.

Walmart or Superstore next .... anyone have an idea where the best deal would be .... Getting 5 renewed.

I got my 2 DD's photos done at a little studio in the same plaza as the passport office (in Brampton, Ontario). They were only $15 (taxes in). And because I think majority of their business is passport photos - they have it down and fast (5 month old and almost 4 year old in a cranky mood and he got them first shot!)

Maybe look for a studio near the office's.

We got our passports done at Costco. We paid $6.99 each :cool1: If not the super store was cheap also. Good Luck!

We got our passports done at Costco too for $6.99 each. Only had to wait about a half hour to get them.

Agreed with the suggestions to look near the Passport Offices. I renewed my Passport on my last trip home, since it's much cheaper and easier than applying from the U.S..

I was able to get them done for $10 at a place within walking distance of the Guy-Favreau Complex Passport Office in Montreal, and they were accepted on the first try. Compared to my Mom's last attempt - she paid $10 at Pharmaprix (a.k.a. Shoppers Drug Mart outside of Quebec), but ended up having the photo rejected because it didn't meet the requirements.

I do hear Costco is both good and dirt cheap, but I think you need to have a membership or have a member go with you to pay.

Do you have a costco near by? The PP photos are less than $7.

I do have a costco nearby, but I've let my membership expire. Looks like Superstore!

Used Shoppers' Drug Mart this summer (5 of us needed to renew) and had no issues ... I think we got them for 50% off and paid $9.99 each.

We have CAA as well so get them free, but, as suggested by other posters, we get our children's done at the photo place near the passport office. I think they charged $10 or 15, but we've had our children's photos rejected by Customs before because of smiling or not being able to see their eyes so it's much simpler to use the "onsite" expert :thumbsup2

Just got them done today at Costco, still $6.99 ea. Totally forgot about CAA

I have CAA plus and when I called the local office I was told passport photos were $9.50. I'll try another office today and see if I get a different answer.
