USPS.com says that my post office location will take passport pics for you. I called the toll free #, but they don't have any more info than that. :confused3 Anyone know how much the post offices charge to take your picture? Any advantage/disadvantage to doing it there when you apply vs or somewhere else? I think Walgreens was $8 or so and Walmart was $10, but I'm hoping if you do it at the P.O., it's free! (yeah right :rotfl: )

Thanks!

Not free, and I'm pretty sure it's not cheap. I can't remember the exact price - $15 seems to stick in my head - but I do remember thinking it would have been much cheaper elsewhere.

I just did this - go to the Post Office!!! It is $15 but listen to the hassle I had. I went to CVS to get my picture - only $8- well they did not take the right size so the PO sent me back to get it redone. CVS again took the picture for free since it was their mistake. Went back a 2nd time to the PO - again picture was not "perfect". The PO finally took it for me and charged me the $15 so I wasted the first $8 and two trips to the drug store.

Save your self the hassle. The Post Office is very picky.
