Just completed the next step in the ongoing saga of getting a passport for myself and my brother. My brother drove up from Cape Breton Friday morning, arriving in Halifax 12:30 pm (5 hour trip) - whisked him off to pp office for 1:15 pm - left pp office at 3:15 pm - we were lined up out the door (indoors thank goodness). (I had previously taken his info (photo, etc.) to the pp office for them to check over (in express line) to make sure everything was intact before his arrival ...)
ADVICE: If you can do your passport online - do it - they should ask you at the reception area and if it is done on-line, you are in and out in 15 minutes or less as they process you through an express line.
My brother should receive his between Christmas & New Years. He needs it for the lst week of February when we leave for Orlando.

:thumbsup2

Thanks for the tip. We also have to travel to a major center to get to a passport office, and time is of the essence. . . .we leave the end of January. :cool1:

Just wanted to mention that you can also mail it in takes about 20 business days. I did that for my kids because we are not travelling until March.
