Hi everyone, shabbat shalom from Israel!

We will be visiting Orlando early April, in honor of DS13 Bar Mitzvah. On Leil ha'Seder we'll be in USO.

Is there a public Seder meal anywhere in Orlando? And/or a kosher store where we could buy matzah etc? I'm not yet sure what our plans will be, we are not religious -- but I would love to have an option to celebrate the holiday.

Any advice and info will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

I would recommend googling synagogues in the Orlando area and e-mailing them to see if anyone is having a public one or if a family would be willing to host your family for the evening. Many universities also organize holiday meals and these can be extra enjoyable since many international students attend these and it is a great way to try foods from different cultures (although sometimes students away from home for the first time fail miserably at trying to recreate family recipes with foreign ingredients).

A lot of regular groceries will carry mass-produced shelf-stable kosher foods around Passover although I haven't shopped specifically in Orlando at that time of year. Another option is to buy online and have it delivered to your hotel room.

Americans are generally very welcoming and I doubt you will have much trouble finding a place to celebrate as long as you are able to get in contact with the right people.
