Passing on link to umbrella "type" stroller I just purchased for our trip

Here is a link to the stroller I just purchased. DD is three and we really didn't want to be lugging around that big stroller anymore. It was such a pain folding it up for the busses. I really hate the "cheap" umbrella strollers but was trying to find something that folded up to around the same size. I also wanted to have a canopy and at least a small storage basket. My DH is also 6'5 and most umbrella strollers he has to bend over so far his back is killing him by the time he is done.

This one is on clearance at babies r us right now for $58. My dh loves it as he doesn't have to bend at all! We will also be using it this week at a golf tournament we are going to. This one should be great for those bus trips at Disney! HTH someone who might be in the same situation that we were in.

Thanks! We were looking for something like this! DD is getting old enough that we don't need to lug the regular stroller everywhere now. DId you get it at Babies R Us store or did you order it online?

I still think the maclaren Volo is the best I've used- about $59 bucks at Buy Buy Baby. It is a lightweight umbrella that holds up to 60 lbs.

2nd vote for the maclaren volo. We think it is the best lightweight stroller out there!!!

Yes I got it at the store. It can be purchased online as well. I also saw the other strollers mentioned, but was not willing to spend that type of money on an "umbrella" stroller. (This was in the store, did not look for them on the web.) Also, from what I can tell they would not have worked for us anyway. DH is very tall and this was the only one that had handles high enough that he doesn't have to bend over at all! We used the babytrend stroller at a golf tournament today and it did great! We were very happy with it.
