Passholder discounts offered for Poly Studios?

I'm interested in staying in a Poly Studio (standard view) for Easter 2018. The current rate is $629/night but I was wondering if they might offer a discount next spring? 0r would I be better off trying to get a room last minute renting points? Many thanks!

There's no predicting what kind of discounts Disney will offer in the future. AP and FL resident discounts are the very last to be announced and they are always used to fill rooms that have gone unreserved even after other discounts have been tossed out to the general public. There are no guarantees that there will be an AP discount for your dates or that PVB studios will be included even if there is one.

However, since DVC is designed to operate at near-100% capacity, your chances of renting a reservation for a PVB studio at the "last minute" are pretty slim.
