Passholder appreciation nights this year?

Last August, Universal held several annual pass holder appreciation nights in August, but we didn't find out about them until we saw a very line of people waiting to enter the park.

Would anyone here be able to shed light on this?

How did/do pass holders find out about this event? (We were pass holders, but didn't get any information about it.)

Any chance of a repeat event in 2017, or was this only for 2016? (Have they held these nights other years?)

Did I already miss the boat?
