When we were viisiting WDW on my daughter's wish trip we received a GAC pass. She has a heart condition for which she takes medication and the medication makes her more sensitive to heat. What would we need to show to get one of these passes again when we visit Disneyland.

Note, something official looking, something that says why you need it, to Guest Services, I doubt they would give you much issue, but you should have something that says why you need it.

DL isn't as free in giving these out as WDW (the only type they give out w/o questions are the no stairs passes). You will probably need a DR's note explaining her needs (not the diagnosis). If you still have the GAC from WDW, bring that as well, though the policies between DLR and WDW are different in these matters.

My brother is in a wheelchair and has trouble breathing, heat doesn't help that either. We've always went in and just explained it to the CM's. Never had a problem, no doctors note or official documents. I'd be surprised if they would try to say no just because you don't have a note.

we went to DL for my son's wish trip last October(he is in a wheelchair). We went into Town Hall for the GAC, but they said that it wasn't necessary, probably because it was obvious that he is disabled). But she did tell us that if any CMs were questioning us that we could use the pass. We got one just in case, NEVER needed it! As a matter of fact all of the CMs were WONDERFUL. By the end of the week the CMs at Big Thunder Railroad knew my son by name.... we road it 18 times. The final day the CM didn't even have us get off, she had us ride 2 times in a row! That was the highlight of my DS's week! That and having Capt Jack sign his (orthotic - "peg leg" - official pirate)
