took 26 days from time of submission to disney, i was starting to worry, called shontell last monday, no word yet, was going to call again today, but got the word on friday
passed rofr at okw with a full years banked points from 03 in 1 week
bcv and bwv seem to be taking almost the full 30 days

You must have been sitting on pins & needles waiting for almost the entire 30 days -- we were very fortunate because our BWV ROFR took only about 10 business days (in mid-March).

Great to hear that OKW passed Disney's ROFR in such a short time -- we just purchased at OKW on Saturday (full 2003 and 2004 points - YEAH!) and hope ours goes as quickly!

I certainly don't know if this would be entirely ethical but it would help if, along with the details as to banked or borrowed points, payment of maintainence or transfer fees or other juicy details of a resale transaction, the posters would note the accepted sales price that either passed through Disney's ROFR or was gobbled up by Disney excercising their ROFR. This information would certaily assist those purchasing a resale and those attempting to sell.

What were your specifics on your OKW resale?

okw resale was 230 pts, sept use yr, 230 banked from 03, paid $72/pt, plus the closing costs and prorated 2004 dues
yes i know we overpaid some but i wanted an add-on, got tired of waiting for a bcv, kept just missing them on the resale sites, one sold last month 12 minutes after it hit the website
we can travel anytime we want during the year so the 11 month window isn't as critical to me, and we stayed in okw in dec 03 and really liked it, so if we ever are restricted to booking only at home resorts i'll be fine with okw for 1 out of 3 trips, we already own 207 pts at bcv and with bwv this will give us enough to do a 1 bdr 3 times a year, plus bringing along family every other year

What were your specifics on your OKW resale?

We are in the process of purchasing at OKW -- we went with the asking price of $71/point, largely because all 310 points from 2003 will be banked as part of the sale and none of the 2004 points have been used (December use year). We're paying 2004 maintenance fees. Hope the ROFR process goes as quickly this time as it did last (BWV, 350 points for the Feb. 2004 use year + 102 banked points, $72 pp).
